– Announced last month and released today on Steam
– Adds 3x speed, option to turn off random encounters, a "battle enhancement" mode (maxes Limit gauge and restores HP/MP in battles), and an autosave feature
– New version replaces the 2013 Steam edition and the 2013 edition will no longer be available to buy
– Owners of the 2013 edition receive the new version free and retain access to the 2013 edition in their libraries
– Save files are not compatible between the new version and the 2013 edition (players must start a new game)
– Update brings the PC release up to parity with other modern console ports of Final Fantasy VII
